I'm Mike, the Wisconsin Bread Dad. I was born and raised in Wisconsin and have fond memories of my dad making bread for our family when I was a child. The house always smelled amazing, and those moments are some of my favorite childhood memories.
Now, I'm creating new memories with my own family here in S. E. Wisconsin by baking delicious breads. Over a decade ago, I created my own live active sourdough starter, which I secretly named Obi-Wan-Breadoughby. However, I suggest you pick your own name and start your own traditions. It's a lot of fun!
My passion for everything sourdough has led me to start my own business, WiBread Dad. I couldn't have thought of a more fitting name! I love being a dad and anything related to Wisconsin!
